With our blinds you can choose from different control sides. Here we explain the differences and when to choose which option.
Shared control
In most cases shared control is the best choice. This means you lift on the left and tilt on the right. It works perfectly for single windows.
⚠️ Note:
For blinds narrower than 500 mm, the controls are always separate.
Control on the left or right
Hanging several blinds side by side? Then choose the control on the left or right, so no cords are visible in front of the window.
Example: two windows side by side
Say you have two windows next to each other. Choose the control on the left for the left window and on the right for the right window.
Example: three windows side by side
Three windows in a row? Choose the control on the left for the left window, shared control for the middle one, and on the right for the right window.
Tilting with cord or wand
On 50 mm and 65 mm blinds, both tilting and lifting are done with a cord.
On 25 mm blinds you tilt with a wand and lift with a cord. On aluminium that wand is transparent. On wood you get a wooden wand in the colour of the slats.
